I’m so glad that the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell law was repealed, so that gays can now serve openly in the military and can’t be discharged for their sexual preference. We’re that much closer to equality for all people. Now if we can just get same sex marriage legalized, then we’re really in there.
This is so perfect, for the time you look at this image, you don’t know if it’s a boy and girl, a girl and a girl, a boy and a boy, a black man and a white girl, a white man and an asian girl, you know nothing. Just the simplicity of the connection and the beauty of two human beings sharing love and that is all that should ever matter.
What’s A Slut?
When we were all in middle school there was one word that we would hear all the time to describe females. PRUDE! Then once we got to high school, it’s as if that word became extinct and was replaced with another word. SLUT! What exactly makes someone a slut though? Some people may say that a slut is a female who has a lot of sex. Others may say that a slut is someone who dresses provocatively. Regardless we all have our own definition of what makes a person a slut. Mainly this term is used when referring to females, but males can also be sluts. The thing about males being sluts is that since the beginning of time there’s been a double standard between men and women when it comes to the subject of sex. Men can have sex with whoever they want, whenever they want, however they want, as many times as they want. When it comes to a woman doing the same exact thing then it’s unacceptable and she’s a plethora of derogatory names all of a sudden. Unfortunately the double standards between men and women are always going to be there whether we like it or not because society has painted a picture of the standards that women are expected to live up to in all aspects of life. It’s unfair. Yes. But it’s a part of life, and you don’t have to conform to those standards if you don’t want to. Personally I find nothing wrong with a female who likes sex just as much as a man does. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a female having multiple sex partners. Where is the line drawn between having a good time, and being a slut though? My personal definition of what makes a person a slut is sleeping around having disregard towards other peoples feelings. For example is someone sleeps with someone who’s in a relationship, one of your friends has feelings for, knowingly sleeping with someone who has deep feelings for you and you don’t feel the same. Another thing that makes you a slut is just having sex with anyone who gives you the time of day, not having standards, or boundaries. You have to have standards! You don’t want every guy in your town to be able to say that he slept with you. You have to think about your reputation. Just because someone is willing to sleep with you doesn’t mean that you should, and just because they drown you in compliments doesn’t mean that you should either. A person will promise you the world just to get in your pants. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. I wouldn’t say that the way a person dresses makes them a slut either. Just because a person dresses provocatively doesn’t mean that they’re sleeping with every person they come across. For all you know they could be a virgin. Which brings me to another misconception. Just because someone is a virgin doesn’t make them not a slut either. You can do everything besides the actual task of intercourse. If you still disregard others feelings then you’re a slut. There are so many emotions that come along with having sex. You should always be considerate of the person that you’re having sex with and their feelings. If you have a “Friend with Benefits” and they start to have deeper feelings for you than you have for them, then it’s time to cut that relationship off. If you continue to have that relationship with them then it’s not going to end well at all. So go ahead and have sex with whoever you’d like, but make sure you think about the person you’re having sex with and the consequences that comes along with those actions and never settle for less. If you don’t then well I guess that makes you a slut. ;)
